Parkway's been revamped quite a bit, it's not bad.. I like the things downstairs at the basement.
=p Coffee Bean's been reinstated! Yay for CB&TL! I'd really like to get a cup of coffee from there.
BUT! The sheer amt of calories in just one cup of commercial coffee is just....... omfg?

And I bought the most expensive ****** ********* I've ever seen for Chris.
Gosh. Why do you need to stick your ****** in such an expensive ****** ********* I don't know.

I GOT 770 SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY OUT OF 800 FOR MY SAT MATH LEVEL 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol. I'm so proud of it. My SAT scores are the only thing good on my application. How pathetic is that?
I'll have to go back to MJ again sometime next week to get the bloody envelopes stamped. And also to get back my recommendation forms. Really grateful to Mrs Chua & Mr Nathan for doing them for me. It's quite a lot of paperwork. =)

Hmm.. I saw this pair of slippers at Adidas yesterday. Actually, 2 or 3 pairs. Didn't have time to try them on. I was wearing my converse anyways.
How disgusting would it be if I took off my shoes and socks to try on the slippers?

Name and describe the creative work (book, film, work of art, etc.) that has most influenced you and explain its influence.

I would say that the book which has most influenced me is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I was introduced to this book in Grade 8 Literature. Austen's most famous and publicised literary piece, it is also the one with messages still pertaining to the present; that of prejudice. Discrimination and stereotyping, a problem which still exists, in some ways lesser of a problem now than before, in others, a problem which has ballooned to great proportions.

It has taught me not to judge one by just one's looks or to go by first impressions. While first impressions, incidentally Austen's original title for Pride and Prejudice, are important in forming an initial sketch of someone's personality, they are not all that one should go by. Judge a book by its cover, and you might just find out beauty is, really, only skin deep.
